  “What’s the big emergency Cap? Some of us need to unwind after the shit your woman put us through.” Ty was gnawing on some type of meat bone as we waited for the others to join us. Con came next and we watched him say bye to Dani in the doorway before coming over.

  At least she didn’t look any worse for wear and I could only surmise that he was taking it easy because of his son.

  The others soon came, all except Zak who was probably still in his woman.

  “Gaby’s pregnant.” I didn’t bother leading up to the shit, why bother? It took a minute for it to sink in but when it did, the air shifted around us. Everyone was excited and the news went a long way to alleviating the stress of what we’d dealt with in the last few hours.

  Ty of course had to make his feelings known. “It’s got to be the fucking water, either that or the shit’s catching.” The idiot started backing away like we had the plague.

  I smirked at him because from what I saw last night his time was just about up. I watched him the whole night as he pretended not to be watching Vicky, but I wasn’t about to say anything because knowing his hardheaded ass, he’d deny her just for that shit.

  Zak finally came waltzing out his door, but for a man who’d been busy, doing what he’d been doing, he sure didn’t look rested. “What the fuck is wrong with females?” Uh-oh. He didn’t even stop to find out what was going on, but kept going towards the cottage where we’d stashed the three idiots in a separate room away from the woman.
